About Us

hearingTec is a leading retail and wholesale company, which aims at helping those suffering from various hearing loss types lead a normal, better quality life by providing advanced hearing solutions, customized ear molds, using 3D printing technology, and much more, for both adults and children

Our Story

1992

Guided by a mission to help affected individuals lead a normal, better quality life unhindered by their hearing loss, Eng. Ra’ed Billeh founded Jordan Hearing Aids Manufacturing Co., later adding the trade marks, microear, JACO, and hearingTec in addition to the trade name Jordan hearingTec.

1998

After relocating to the First Circle Area, hearingTec partnered with Swiss and Danish manufacturers for the distribution of their products alongside the Company’s own local assembled brand “microear”.

2002

Audiological diagnostic and clinical equipment from Danish origin were introduced

2007

hearingTec relocated to Fourth Circle (Ibn Khaldoun St –Al Khalidi), the move was made to target the high traffic and increased demand of users and clinics this street has grown to.

2010

In keeping with its goal of helping children live a life unhindered by hearing loss, hearingTec established Junior Audiology Care Office (JACO), a pediatric-specific center for early hearing testing and diagnosis among newborns and children up to the age of 4. As part of its contribution towards the local community, the center offers its services at reasonable prices and, in many cases with no charges, as for King Hussein Cancer Center patients

2011

Following the success of the pediatric center, hearingTec expanded its product solutions to include cochlear implants and middle ear implants for deaf and hard of hearing children

2012

Two decades after its establishment, hearingTec automated its processes by installing Microsoft Dynamics NAV – a fully integrated Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution that stores customers’ data, medical records, 3D scans, plus integrated with 3D modeling software – in order to improve its level of customer service by smoothing out all assembly and ordering processes

2014

Further emphasizing its commitment toward the local community, hearingTec has proposed the ‘Hearing without Borders’ initiative, a two years project, and proudly adopted by HRH Crown Prince Al Hussein Bin Abdullah II, an initiative aimed at helping deaf children in the Kingdom gain their hearing back

In addition, hearingTec was assigned a five year mission to help develop hearing solutions for the Algerian market. Later that year, hearingTec acquired a new 3D printer and 3D scanner to compensate for the increased production demands

Calibration equipment was also introduced to assist in calibrating the local Audiometric equipment, a step that further enhanced our diagnostic market

2017

Nearly 25 years later, hearingTec’s network of partnerships with prominent global hearing aid and diagnostics manufacturers further expanded, adding to the diagnostic matrix the balance diagnostic equipment which includes and not limited to the TVR 3D Chair and other units

hearingTec initiated the building enhancement project

2018

The building expansion has completed, by adding new floors with almost 2000sq meters of space. The building includes six floors to provide full audiological services for different age groups, with the pediatric center moving to B2 floor from its original location in Shmesani, thus the registered trademark for slogan “The House of Hearing” was acquired.
